  1. Because they all have side effects that can cause damage to the nervous system. I took hydrocodone 3 years ago and experience tell you that you try to stop this type of medicine. My recommendation is that you visit the doctor but it does not prescribe you prescription medicines - hydrocodone, oxycodone, or lortab - that you advise to eat them because the abuse of them can lead to death.
